I loved staying here we had so much fun at the pool the staff was SOO nice I loved how welcoming and kind they were the pool was immaculate the water was crystal clear and it’s a salt water pool!! It felt so refreshing and the room was perfect I loved staying here I will definitely stay again

When it comes to writing reviews, I only do so when I encounter exceptional customer service. Not just good customers service, but truly exceptional customer service. That happened today. After a tumultuous week on several fronts, I drove up to get some rest at the Holiday Inn Express in Gaylord, Michigan. Although Krystal and Tricia were very busy, I observed their true professionalism and authentic approach to individualized customer service. Whether it was helping me check in, assisting other guests, or helping fellow staff members, they remained laser focused on every person they assisted. Yes, good customer service is still out there but I personally find exceptional customer service in decline. I’m not sure who hired these professionals, but I respectfully request that you recognize them, thank them, and pray to God you can keep them because the service they provide is above and beyond. As someone who works in a hotel, I find myself looking at hotel stays a little differently these day. with that being said, the condition of this hotel is wonderful, the rooms are in excellent shape and the Linens all appear to be clean. the staff is excellent and accommodating. I will always use this for my trips up north
My husband and I stayed at this location for a week and we absolutely loved it. Although a bit noisy, service was great, especially the employee James during breakfast time. He went above and beyond and breakfast was great. Very attentive and nice. Location was also nice with everything being close by.
